Body Empowerment Project is excited to welcome Rachel Del Rossi as our new Executive Director. Rachel brings over 25 years of experience as a nonprofit leader, community organizer, and systems analyst, with a career dedicated to addressing social inequities and strengthening communities. She has led organizational growth, built strong partnerships, and secured significant funding to expand the reach and impact of mission-driven programs.

She previously served as Executive Director of the Peggy Browning Fund and the Mental Health Association of San Francisco, where she expanded programming and deepened community impact through strategic partnerships.

We would like to thank outgoing Executive Director Clara Pritchett for her time and service with BEP. Reflecting on this transition, she shared: "I am deeply grateful for my time at BEP and proud of all we’ve built together. I’m thrilled to welcome a values-aligned leader like Rachel to guide BEP into its next chapter.”

As Executive Director, Rachel will lead BEP’s continued growth, with a focus on expanding access to our evidence-based programming, strengthening partnerships, and advancing eating disorder prevention and mental health equity for young people.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to have you with us in this next chapter.
