Amanda is a student at Harvard Medical School where she is pursuing a medical degree with an intended focus on minority health. A recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, she obtained a B.A. in Neuroscience in 2021. As an aspiring pediatrician, Amanda has worked for over five years with children and adolescents in clinical and educational settings to improve their wellness and academic success. Through her work with the Body Empowerment Project, she hopes to teach youth how to approach wellness from a place of self-compassion while advocating for themselves and others. Outside of work, Amanda can be found dancing salsa, cooking Cuban food, or going on long exploratory walks.
